May 8, 2019, ATLANTA, GA – CoreNet Global has announced that famed movie director and actor Spike Lee will host a conversation with attendees at the upcoming CoreNet Global Summit in Anaheim, CA, October 20-22, 2019.
Lee will share his thoughts on important social issues and his life in the movie industry – and will likely draw parallels to the work corporate real estate professionals are tackling to create spaces and places that foster inclusive business cultures and support diverse, multigenerational workforces.
CoreNet Global Summits and the Corporate Real Estate Profession
CoreNet Global is a non-profit association, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia (US), representing more than 11,000 executives in 50 countries with strategic responsibility for the real estate assets of large corporations. Members include 70% of the top 100 U.S. companies and nearly half of the Global 2000.

CoreNet Global Summits convene the world’s leaders in corporate real estate (CRE). CRE is defined as real property used by a company for its own operational purposes. It provides corporations with a productive environment to house employees, manufacture and distribute products and provide services to the market. Corporate real estate touches all classes of property, land, and buildings such as office facilities, data centers, manufacturing facilities, logistic centers, corporate headquarters, distribution facilities, retail stores, and hotels.
CoreNet Global also announced a video contest to win a backstage pass to meet Spike Lee. Summit attendees can compete to win one of three slots for a personal meet and greet session.

Entrants must record a 30-to-45-second video of themselves explaining how they “do the right thing” regarding workplace diversity and inclusion. As a meaningful contributor in the corporate real estate profession, corporate real estate professionals have a significant role to play in influencing workplace culture.
To be considered, the video must include the entrant’s name, company and city at the start of the recording. Videos must be submitted no later than September 27th, 2019 11:59 pm ET to your Instagram profile. Submissions must tag CoreNet Global’s Instagram (@corenet_global) and include the hashtag #CNGDoTheRightThing. Videos submitted must be posted to a public profile.
Entrant must be a registered attendee for the submission to be valid. If for some reason entrant cannot attend the event, the backstage pass will be null and void. No replacements or additional guests will be permitted backstage. Winners will have the opportunity to take one photograph on a mobile phone and one will be provided by the CoreNet Global official photographer.
