January 2018 - CoreNet Global & Deloitte – Outsourcing in Corporate Real Estate Survey
This survey looked at the primary drivers of CRE outsourcing and what criteria CRE end users/occupiers use when selecting strategic service providers. The survey also addressed contractual structures, including questions on pricing, service level agreements, and gain-sharing provisions. Further questions delved into bundling preferences, procurement, and how vendors are managed.

From the perspective of service providers, the survey looked at the challenges of working with corporate clients, what kinds of pricing strategies are used, and what the ideal term for an outsourcing contract is.

As a service to its Corporate Occupiers (End User members), CoreNet Global is pleased to present the 2018 CoreNet Global End User Compensation Survey. Sponsored by CoreNet Global and conducted by FPL Associates L.P., this survey is designed to provide internal corporate real estate (CRE) organization professionals with competitive compensation levels and current information regarding the design, features, and administration of compensation programs.

This report provides information for three major facets of compensation: base salary (2018), annual incentive (cash bonus) award value (for calendar/fiscal year 2017), and long-term incentive award value (for calendar/fiscal year 2017) for 13 positions commonly found in internal CRE organizations.

This year’s survey received responses from 166 End User members, representing 143 organizations. We extend our sincere appreciation to all participants for providing valuable information.

April 2017 – CoreNet Global and Deloitte Performance Management in Corporate Real Estate Survey
This webinar revealed the results of the Performance Management Survey conducted by CoreNet Global and Deloitte. In 2012 CoreNet Global and Deloitte conducted a Performance Management Survey of CRE leaders. The survey focused on current and future trends in performance measurement and management, and it generated insights for CoreNet Global membership and students in the MCR program. In 2016, we reprised the survey with the aim of exploring how CRE organizations are evolving their performance management capabilities and where challenges continue to limit organizational maturity. In addition, the survey delved into technology and data related practices and challenges for performance management, as well as the alignment of the CRE performance management program with broader business objectives.

Survey collaboration with ISS and Copenhagen Institute of Future Studies. Moving beyond 2020, megatrends are reshaping outsourcing in several ways. New models of collaboration are emerging, and we are shifting towards business propositions rooted in relationships and outcomes, rather than transactions and inputs. The future of outsourcing will be characterized by a high degree of collaboration in order to boost global competitiveness. Outsourcing is evolving to accommodate new market needs and the growing complexity of the challenges that will continue to face businesses in the future. Organizations will be demanding more from Facility Management as they come to realize the strategic value of work, workforce and workplace in enabling organizational transformation.
