Awards and recognition are a vital part of advancing CoreNet Global’s mission and strategic plan to advance and support the practice of corporate real estate globally and locally. Part of CoreNet Global’s Strategic Plan is to lead the evolution and maturity of the practice of corporate real estate and become the pipeline for future trained networked and credentialed talent. To recognize the excellence of individuals and their companies, as well as promote the exchange of best practices, CoreNet Global features several awards.
All of these awards are recognized at the CoreNet Global annual Awards and Recognition Program, held at the CoreNet Global Summit in North America. This dinner celebrates the Young Leader of the Year, Distinguished Leaders, MCR, QPCR, and SLCR graduates, Chapter(s) of the Year, and winners of the Professional Excellence Award, Sustainable Leadership Award, Corporate Real Estate Executive of the Year, and H. Bruce Russell Global Innovator's Award.
GLOBAL INNOVATOR'S AWARD
The H. Bruce Russell Global Innovator’s Award (GIA) recognizes excellence and innovation in corporate real estate. Created in 2000, this award has honored the “game changers” in the corporate real estate profession —those individuals and companies whose work, ideas, and best practices elevate the practice of corporate real estate. Nominees for the GlA are chosen from project submissions in two categories: Sustainable Leadership, and Professional Excellence. The winner of the Global Innovator’s Award is recognized live, and on-stage at CoreNet Global’s Summit in North America. Their achievement is also showcased in media and the Knowledge Center, and distributed via CoreNet Global press releases.

CoreNet Global’s Professional Excellence Award celebrates innovation in management and work processes, specifically as it produces world-class, superior performance and delivers a desired, measurable and sustained result.
