Building the Future of Work in the Information Age: An Interactive Workshop

As organizations everywhere are challenged to keep pace in a more complex business environment, they are looking at a myriad of ways to heighten innovation, build employee comradery and support the fluctuating needs of their global workforce. This session will look into the future of the work experience and share how leading organizations can prepare for the future and create dynamic workplaces to support people, the flow of information and enhance company culture to remain competitive in the marketplace. Over the last several years, we have been investigating monumental shifts in work and the underlying workstyles driving dramatic transformations in knowledge work and the spaces required to sustain this multidimensional work.

Based on our extensive research, in this two-part session, we share an assemblage of multiphase research:

  • Part One - will focus on the business factors driving workplace change and the shared data capture from a survey of over 100 workplace executives on how people are working and organizations are planning and allocating space now and in the future.
  • Part Two - is an interactive, hands-on prototyping workshop, where you will organize your current business challenges, map out present-day workplace issues and break down and visualize the user experience. Build your own future workplace model, create a plan of execution and receive direct feedback from other participants.

Key Takeaways:

  • Recognize the drivers impacting todays work and what they mean for the future of work and the workplace.
  • Describe how cutting-edge organizations are planning and allocating spaces.
  • Identify key lessons learned from progressive organizations and apply these insights to their organizations workplace strategies.
