As designers help clients invest in healthy sustainable design strategies, there is a clear need to track and validate the impact of these design decisions to further launch a successful and financially viable movement. The World Green Building Council’s newest research of leading case studies on human health and wellbeing in green buildings will be covered in this session. Fifteen case studies in the report represent projects globally, including healthcare and office spaces. The geographically diverse case studies utilize a multitude of sustainability and human health rating systems and the report provides significant value towards showing global best practices. In this session, discussion on methodologies used to collect human health metrics will be presented along with key findings.
