Machines may be superior than human workers in some ways, but it is important to note that there is one area that machines will never excel and that's what makes us human... our emotional intelligence (EI). Empathy is one of the most important parts of EI. There is High Empathy where one feels the pain of others and in turn focuses on how they can help them in their need and the Low Empathy side is where the psychopaths reside. Emotions like boredom, desire, curiosity, and inspiration lead us down the path to create new and innovative ideas. Today most humans in the working world have everything they could need yet they are never satisfied. Not being satisfied is what drives most humans to build and create. What you have to offer, what you can do better than any smart machine, is relate to the people around you. This session will delve into what makes the human workforce stand apart from AI.
