Young Leaders from around the world: key perspectives on attracting & retaining emerging talent Thursday, 15 September 2022 from 10:30 AM – 11:15 AM

The pandemic has created new challenges for attracting & retaining talent. The 'new normal,’ provides an opportunity for employers to reconsider the workplace and reimagine how best to captivate emerging talent by understanding their key drivers, core values, and how best to support innovation & career growth. CoreNet Global Young Leader members from different global chapters will discuss how to attract & retain emerging talent through the lens of different cultural norms and regional perspectives, focusing on 4 themes: the office environment, the rise of flexible working, supporting & nurturing innovation, and ESG.

Key Takeaways:

  • Participants will be able to understand the perspectives of emerging talent across different regions and cultures, what they feel is essential to their growth and what drives their decision making process when taking the next step in their career.

  • Participants will be able analyse the key decision-making factors of emerging leaders against the strategies and leadership styles in place in their organisations, and whether they need adapting.

  • Participants will be able to identify how the values and drivers of emerging talent may affect their real estate strategy, workplace and working environment.
