Want to Get Started Planning Your Proposal?

First step, review the Proposal Template. The  proposal template (PDF) has this year’s theme and the questions so when the site opens you will be ready to enter your preplanned responses in the online proposal submission tool.

Second, please read the  Speaker Requirements & Commitments (PDF) Agreement and be aware of the following responsibilities in the agreement and below should your proposal submission be accepted for one of the Global Summits.

  1. Confirming & Finalizing Speakers – If your proposal is selected, please be prepared to confirm your co-speakers as soon as possible and email us when it’s finalized. Finalizing your session and speaker details (short bio, photo) early allows us to promote your session and speakers to attendees on our website.
  2. Speaker Registration - When you are confirming your co-speakers, please note that all Summit speakers must be registered and paid for prior to the Summit. Summit speakers are eligible for a 30% discount on the current registration rate. Registering early allows your speakers to take advantage of the best pricing to speak & attend the Global Summit.
  3. Speaker Diversity - As part of CoreNet Global’s strategic objectives, ensuring diversity at our Summits is a priority for us, and we are hoping to promote and encourage that as much as possible. As you build your session, please be mindful of the diversity of your co-speaker(s).
  4. Speakers in Multiple Sessions - Further, to ensure that attendees are able to hear from as many speakers as possible CoreNet Global does not allow a speaker to speak in more than one breakout session per Summit. Please confirm that any speakers that you plan to add to your session are not already speaking in another session.
  5. Speakers Speak in Person - At this point, CoreNet Global does not envision being able to accommodate virtual speakers. Please ensure that any speakers put forth will be able to participate live in-person.
  6. Session Title and Description - Please note that CoreNet Global will edit the title and description for marketing purposes and to meet our language guidelines. You will be notified of any edits made.
  7. Standard A/V (Technology) - Historically CoreNet Global has provided 3 wireless mics. If the number of speakers in the breakout session exceeds the number of mics that CoreNet Global provides, any additional mics that you would like to add would be at your own expense. CoreNet Global does not pay for additional mics.
  8. Conference Harvester (Speaker Management System) - The entire site is designed with tasks and guidelines specific to the presentations. The goal is that this will make it easier to share information. We have provided a personalized Access Key that allows you to log in to your individual profile and complete the required tasks.

CoreNet Global will:

  • Post your session information, picture, and bio on the Summit website and app.
  • Serve as a resource to help you prepare for your session.
  • Furnish a Summit-branded PowerPoint template for your presentation.
  • Provide the list of CoreNet Global’s standard A/V equipment.
  • Provide technical and support staff during your session.

Each year the top-rated speakers from each Summit are recognized as Luminary Award winners.  The award is a symbol of excellence, presented to those achieving performance ratings in the top 10% of all speakers at each Summit. The Luminary Award recognizes the attainment of 'eminence' and 'inspiration' amongst our speakers. The Luminary Awards will be presented at the next regional Summit.

Congratulations to the current and past winners!
