One of the most iconic US fast food chains is making a major move. Kentucky-based KFC is moving its headquarters from Louisville, Kentucky, to Plano, Texas, and about 100 corporate employees are expected to relocate.

In spite of this move, KFC plans to continue to have a presence in its home state. According to CBS, the company “said it would provide a $1 million endowment to the College of Business at the University of Louisville to fund Yum-sponsored scholarships for students throughout Kentucky. Additionally, KFC said it planned to build a first-of-its-kind flagship restaurant in Louisville.”
