AI Will Disrupt Corporate Real Estate CoreNet Global Polls Attendees at Two Recent Global Summits on AI’s Impact

ATLANTA (November 2024) — Attendees at two recent CoreNet Global Summits – in Berlin and Washington, D.C. – predict that artificial intelligence (AI) will have a significant impact on the corporate real estate profession.

When asked what impact AI will have on the profession, attendees at the 2024 CoreNet Global Summit | EMEA in Berlin, which includes corporate real estate occupiers and service providers responded as follows.

· Transformative: It will revolutionize the profession: 17.2 percent

· Significant: It will bring major improvements: 53.76 percent

· Moderate: It will provide noticeable benefits: 26.88 percent

· Minimal: It will have some impact but not substantial: 2.15 percent

· None: It will have little to no impact: 0.0 percent

 

Attendees at the 2024 CoreNet Global Summit | North America in Washington, D.C. responded similarly:

· Transformative: It will revolutionize the profession: 25.23 percent

· Significant: It will bring major improvements: 47.7 percent

· Moderate: It will provide noticeable benefits: 23.85 percent

· Minimal: It will have some impact but not substantial: 3.21 percent

· None: It will have little to no impact: 0.0 percent

 

The most highly impacted areas, according to the respondents at both summits, will be lease management administration, location intelligence, and facilities management.
