A LinkedIn poll conducted by CoreNet Global has found that the Omicron variant has delayed, yet again, the return to work for most companies, with 15 percent now saying that the return is delayed indefinitely.
Twenty-nine percent said the return has been pushed back one month, and 16 percent said the return was delayed to the second quarter beginning April 1, 2022. Forty percent said there were no changes due to the Omicron variant.
The poll was open in the first week of January and completed by representatives of 217 companies who answered the question – “Has the Omicron variant delayed your company’s return to the office plans?” - on CoreNet Global’s LinkedIn page. CoreNet Global is the global association for corporate real estate professionals.
