Latin America: Lessons Learned from Implementing Global Workplace Programs

Global workplace standards for multinational firms can be established with the support of executive and business line leadership and subject matter experts. However, when taking those standards ‘locally’ a new set of local context, cultures and operational and legal challenges can occur and potentially derail your progress. This session will focus on the challenges and opportunities related to the implementation of these standards in Mexico and Brazil as two of the larger emerging markets in Latin America. The panel will describe how organizations can leverage new laws in each region to address desired mobility and overcome cultural barriers. Learn how these organizations have dealt with the challenges with local CRE, HR and IT organizations and gain insightful recommendations for dealing with project disruption.
