Working globally can be an experience full of joy and frustration. There are certain sets of values that are commonly shared in a culture that when contrasted with another culture can bring about completely unexpected behaviour, which can lead to misunderstandings and conflict. Building trust with people of other cultures can be a stimulating and enriching experience. However, when someone’s behavior is completely unexpected, it is very hard to build that trust.
