Madrid, Spain and Atlanta, GA - 1 August 2005 – CoreNet Global, the premier association for corporate real estate executives, has announced that its fourth annual CoreNet Global European Summit will take place in Madrid, Spain on 18-20 September 2005. The European Summit will explore the theme Real Estate at the Speed of Business? Being Competitive in a Diverse Europe to examine how the global business landscape can cope with the relentless driving force of accelerated change.

The Madrid Summit will address a number of key issues, including whether Europe is adapting and innovating fast enough to sustain or enhance competitive advantage in the global economy, and whether real estate professionals are being successful in matching the overall pace of change in their own organizations.

Featured speakers include Luis Maria Huete of the University of Navarra speaking on the “competitive advantage” and Ted Sargent of MIT speaking on “our future in a nanotechnology world”.

In addition to keynote industry leader presentations, seminars, lunches, and networking opportunities, the European Summit will also update delegates on the wide ranging research program Corporate Real Estate 2010: Enabling Work in a Networked World. The Summit program will examine how the networked world - interdependent connections of people, partners and places - expands and blurs the boundaries of the traditional multi-national business organization and transforms it into an enterprise of increased scope, complexity and risk.

The CoreNet Global Madrid Summit expects to draw approximately 350 corporate real estate executives to explore the opportunities and threats inherent in the ever-changing global business environment and contribute to the debate and the emerging body of knowledge that will drive the corporate real estate professional forward.
