Welcome to the India Chapter! 

On behalf of the India Chapter Committee, I take great pleasure introducing you to our Chapter.

This is the region’s youngest chapter and we hope to make it the largest as well with members in many metro cities of India like Mumbai, Bangalore, New Delhi and Hyderabad. The Chapter has grown steadily since its inception in 2001 and received a further boost after hosting the annual Asia Summit in 2004.

I would like to thank Ashok Kumar, our outgoing Chapter Chair and the founder member for our chapter, for his efforts on the Committee since its inception. He has agreed to continue as Advisor on the committee. Similarly, Neel Raheja and Juggy Marwaha continue on the committee and I look forward to working with them.

Andrew Barker and NS Vinodh join the committee from this year. Andrew has been an active member of CoreNet Global for some years now and has also worked in various committees. He will take on the challenging role of Learning and Education. Vinodh will help me in improving our membership strength.  For a full listing of the Chapter Committee officers, Click Here.

Juggy will work with me on developing the events programme for 2005/2006. Taken together with Andrew’s work in area of Learning and Education, this should provide several areas of interest to our members. We plan to encourage even non-members to attend meetings and to participate in discussions so as to exchange views and knowledge.
