Agenda and Documents
What: The 2008 Leadership and Best Practices Forum will be a knowledge-filled and highly iterative two day event for you as a chapter leader. This valuable experience shared with peers and key staff will leave you energized, informed and motivated about your role within the chapter.
Planned for the agenda are:
- Roundtable discussions that delve deep into chapter best practices
- Breakout sessions that provide the opportunity for you to share your knowledge and best practices with other chapter leaders
- Time allotted to synthesis information and craft action items to take back and share with your chapter board
- Networking Opportunities: Breakfasts, Breaks, Cocktails and Closing Reception and Dinner
This is a great opportunity for you to make new contacts and build relationships with your peers while at the same time furthering your understanding of the vision, goals and objectives of our organization, CoreNet Global. Registration details are below.
When: 8-10 February 2008
Friday, February 8th: Forum kicks of with a luncheon at noon and ends at 5:00 pm, open evening.
Saturday, February 9th: Networking breakfast begins at 8:00 am, programs begin at 8:45 am with a full day of breakout sessions and ending with a dinner.
Sunday, February 10th: Breakfast on your own, no programming.

Each registrant is responsible for their travel and lodging. We recommend that you make your arrangements as soon as possible as space is limited.
Attendance: Each chapter may send up to four representatives from their local chapter board. It is recommend that two of the four chapter officers be newly appointed and/or Emerging Professional chapter officers as a best practice in succession planning in building future leadership.
Note: If you are currently sitting on a CoreNet Global Committee, your attendance to the Forum will not count against your chapter’s assigned four representatives. (Committees include: Member and Chapter Services, Financial Advisory, Chairman’s Chapter Task Force, CoRE Curriculum and Learning Advisory)
Costs: There are no registration fees to attend the Forum however, each registrant is responsible for their own travel and lodging. Chapters often sponsor their attendee costs. Should you should have any questions, please contact Lisa Mayo at +1.404.589.3226.
