Shell’s Krakow Service Centre Strategy

Shell successfully delivered a strategy of consolidating business operations into selected cost-advantaged locations alongside a rigorous program of simplification, standardisation and automation. They currently have 7 Business Operations centres globally spread across several business partners including Finance, HR, IT, Procurement and Downstream. One of the main centres of Shell Business Operations (SBO) is in Krakow, Poland and is the focus of this case study presentation.
