What does that mean for the future workplace? CoreNet Global and Johnson Controls 'Booming Workforce' Survey explores the readiness of the workplace to support older workers.
PROJECT: Performance Management - November 2012
The CoreNet Global and Deloitte Performance Management Survey was conducted to better understand how companies use performance management metrics in Corporate Real Estate across a range of capability areas. The aim was to explore how CRE organizations are advancing different performance management techniques. Topic areas explored included: CRE Staffing, organizational reporting structure, and priorities as well as the number and types of CRE metrics tracked across different categories, including frequency, level of detail, etc.
PROJECT: Service Delivery and Outsourcing: Rising to the Challenge - June 2012
CoreNet Global and Johnson Controls present the recent survey results of 'Service Delivery and Outsourcing: Rising to the Challenge'. Topics include trends of how companies are responding to the demands of an increasingly global world. How are they dealing with the turbulent economic environment as well as the growth opportunities offered by emerging markets? Additionally, what are companies doing to balance shareholder value with cost effective services, enhanced technology, and corporate responsibility targets? These often contradictory challenges face the Global Fortune 1000. What is the Real Estate community doing to respond?
PROJECT: Human Capital and Work-Related Quality of Life - May 2012
The 'Human Capital and Work-related Quality of Life' Survey done in collaboration with Sodexo aims to explore the concept of Quality of Life as it is applied in the workplace. Additionally, we will look at an organization's culture, and how it impacts employee productivity and business outcomes. The goal is to understand how organizations design workplace environments based on their approach to human capital. Further, we would like to look at how organizations gauge the future and what strategies they are putting into place.
PROJECT: Do Green Buildings Make Dollars and Sense - March 2012
This survey combines the efforts of the Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate at the University of San Diego, CBRE, and CoreNet Global to evaluate impressions and opinions from CoreNet members and to compare these to some of the research already uncovered by these organizations. Through this survey we have identified some of the opportunities and challenges of implementing sustainable strategies, assessed how aggressively companies are pursuing sustainability and at what premium.
PROJECT: Upskilling the CRE Organization – February 2012
The aim of this research is to uncover real estate occupier trends, and in particular the level of technical and "soft" skills inherent within CoreNet Global's member organizations. Through the results we have obtained a better understanding of what specific areas of service, function and personal capability are needed and how you are addressing these gaps.

CoreNet Global is pleased to present the 2011 CoreNet Global Compensation Survey. Sponsored by CoreNet Global and conducted by FPL Associates L.P., this survey is designed to provide internal corporate real estate (CRE) organization professionals with competitive compensation levels and current information regarding the design, features, and administration of compensation programs. This year’s survey received responses from 288 End User members, representing 231 organizations.
PROJECT: Productivity Metrics – December 2011
This survey explores corporate real estate's relationship and impact on productivity metrics. This research identifies how Corporate Real Estate is linking their strategic initiatives to productivity and performance in the organization. This research also analyzes what is measured in the workplace, where organizations are seeing the resulting impact and where they are moving directionally to improve overall productivity in their workplace environments.
PROJECT: Driving Shareholder Value in the Workplace – November 2011
In addition to traditional CRE / FM metrics (cost/sq. ft, energy usage) how do we align workplace performance with shareholder value? This survey reveals the links between changes to the workplace and the impact that these changes have on individual performance, customer satisfaction and overall business measures, including reductions in business operating costs, increased share prices, margins, profits and business uptime.
PROJECT: Data Center Management – October 2011
The objective of this survey carried out by CoreNet Global and Newmark Knight Frank was to identify the key elements of data centers and of the management of these facilities. The Survey results were used to gain insight into – planning, site selection, forecasting and efficiencies in data center management.

This is an initial study focused on how members perceive Change Management in their organizations. We take a look at, who is involved, what challenges they face, where do they see resistance, and what solutions they have to manage resistance.
