Career-Spanning Educational Pathway for Corporate Real Estate Professionals

Our new Professional Development program has two main pillars, one for attaining technical knowledge and the other for building leadership abilities and soft skills. The existing MCR and SLCR programs will continue to focus mainly on the technical aspects of the job, the primary responsibilities that are essential to a Corporate Real Estate (CRE) position. In parallel, the new Leadership Development Program will flip the value proposition, focusing on leadership and soft-skill development within the context of the CRE and business environment.

2 Professional Development Pathways, 3 Levels of Training

 1. Developing

For high-potential individuals and entry-level managers, including those new to CRE, who want move into higher-level CRE roles.

Technical TrainingLeadership Development

Individual eLearning or face-to-face seminars. Must complete each assessment to earn certificate of achievement.

Leading Self Certificate of Achievement
8 hour eLearning program
based on the leadershipLeading Self topics decision making, teamwork, communication, goal setting, conflict management, and results and service orientation. Must complete each module and pass online assessment to obtain certificate


 2. Performing

For high-potential frontline managers through senior-level leaders with at least five years of experience within the field of CRE who want to move into higher-level management positions.

Technical TrainingLeadership Development

Master of Corporate Real Estate Designation
Focus on critical business issues and the mission of the CRE organization in relation to corporate goals. Requires face-to-face, two-day seminars (3 required, 2 electives), assessment and three-day Capstone; three-year renewal cycle to maintain designation.
