Benchmarking is increasingly recognized as having a critical role to play in the development of corporate real estate (CRE) strategy, yet there has been very little analysis of exactly what data is collected, how benchmarks are being made and how it can be improved. In June 2010, more than 200 CRE professionals from over 140 companies around the world and across a wide range of sectors, shared their benchmarking practices and opinions in a survey conducted by CoreNet Global and DTZ.
