Saturday, 30 April 7:30 a.m. – 5:50 p.m. Rebuilding Chicago Community Reinvestment Challenge (CRC): Getting Dirty for a Good Cause One way or another, CoreNet Global members are builders and more than 60 volunteers from our team rose with the sun Saturday morning to join the CoreNet Global Community Reinvestment Challenge (CRC) in conjunction with National Rebuilding Day and Rebuilding Together, metro Chicago's city-wide rebuilding day. CoreNet Global members joined more than 3,500 locally – and 100,000 nationally – in the rebuilding effort. Global architecture and design firm Perkins + Will served as Presenting Sponsor of the of the Chicago Midwest Summit's CRC, which involved member volunteers working to renovate two homes on North Waller Avenue in the city's Austin neighborhood. "We're involved because we are serious about social responsibility as a firm-wide purpose," said Gary Miciunas, a Principal in Perkins + Will's Chicago office. "This CRC sponsorship opportunity marries our corporate involvement with CoreNet Global and our civic commitment to such projects that honor the broader goals of society." Newmark Knight Frank's Keith W. Cade, CCIM, MCR, served as the CRC Challenge Committee Chair. The timing of National Rebuilding Day and the CoreNet Global Summit was purely coincidental, but presented a natural opportunity for the two organizations to work together, Cade said. "This event provides a great way to give back locally and introduce visitors to the city of Chicago – all while serving the needs of others," Cade said. "We are fortunate that CoreNet Global could help our host city, and at the same time contribute to the national rebuilding effort. It's very good timing all around." – Bailey Webb ![]() Sunday, 1 May CoreNet Global Summit Kicks Off At Chicago's Navy Pier CoreNet Global, the world's leading professional association for corporate real estate and workplace executives, kicks off the Spring Global Summit Chicago Midwest May 1.
