CHICAGO Getting Around Chicago Getting from the Chicago-O'Hare and Midway Airports to your Hotel Trains The CTA Blue Line provides service directly into O'Hare Airport. The fully-accessible O'Hare station is situated in the lower-level concourse, which connects Airline Terminals 1, 2 and 3, and is conveniently accessed from Terminal 5 by free, frequent airport shuttle trains. Getting to the Blue Line from Terminals 1, 2 or 3 The CTA Orange Line provides service directly to Midway Airport. The fully-accessible Midway station is right next to the airport terminal building, and connected by an enclosed walkway. Getting to the Orange Line from the Midway Airport Terminal Building Airport Shuttles Go Airport Express offers daily, door-to-door service to/from O'Hare Airport and most city and suburban neighborhoods. Their hours of operation are from 6 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., departing approximately every 5 to 10 minutes outside the baggage claim areas of the lower levels of the Domestic and International Terminals. Omega Airport Shuttle offers hourly service between O'Hare International and Midway Airports from 7 a.m. to 11:45 p.m. and hourly service between Hyde Park to O'Hare International Airport from 5 a.m. to 11:45 p.m. Allow at least 1 hour for travel time between O'Hare International and Midway Airports. Exact times and locations are available in printed schedules located in the information booths on the lower level of each terminal or on the Omega website. Pick up is located at bus/shuttle center door number 4. The one-way fare between Midway and O'Hare International Airports is $16. Taxi Cabs & Limousines Taxicabs are available on a first-come, first-serve basis from the lower-level curb-front of all terminals. Shared ride service is available. There are no flat rates because all taxicabs run on meters. Expect to spend approximately $35 to $40 for a taxicab ride to downtown Chicago. For wheelchair-accessible vehicles, please call United Dispatch at 800-281-4466. Limousines are available for Chicago and the suburbs. Global Summit Shuttle Service Global Summit shuttle buses, sponsored by Grubb & Ellis Company, are the easiest and most economical way to get from your hotel to the Global Summit and back. Shuttles will only be available between Navy Pier and the three Global Summit hotels: the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers, the Westin Michigan Avenue Chicago and the W Chicago – Lakeshore. Look for signs at your hotel for the pick-up location. Shuttle Service Hours: Taxi Cabs VERY IMPORTANT: If you choose to take a cab to Navy Pier, make sure to tell your driver to take you to the taxi drop-off at Entrance #2, at the east end of the pier close to the Grand Ballroom. If you are dropped off at the west end, you will still have a 5-10 minute walk to the Global Summit venue. Taxis in Chicago charge a $2.25 initial charge, plus $1.80 per mile and $0.33 per minute stopped or in traffic. Pedicabs Bike and Roll offers a fleet of Pedicabs and Bicycle Taxi rides along Chicago's lakefront with pick-up and drop-off points from Navy Pier and Grant Park and access to all the best attractions along the lakefront.
