Turn to our member-experts, of course!
That’s exactly what CoreNet Global did to transform our headquarters office in Atlanta, which was a closed, traditional work space.
Many of you, our members, responded to the call to action that we announced last April asking for your help. More than 70 members from upwards of 50 companies have been involved since the project’s inception in April 2010. We’ve seen about 25 core contributors thus far from our membership, and there’s more to come as the process unfolds toward the move-in date this summer.
It’s great to see everyone working together, contributing products and expertise to the 10,000 square feet of empty shell space on the 30th floor of the Georgia-Pacific Center in downtown Atlanta, transforming it into our new office space..
So, we will be a truer extension of the branding and culture of the membership, which is why we’re calling our workplace transformation “Moving in the Right Direction.”
What’s really exciting is that the finished product showcases the multiple workplace brands, products, practices and styles of the participating members’ companies.
The needs assessment and design phases of the project were completed in the early part of 2011. The construction, or build-out, phase was completed before the July move.
The project team introduced different types of flexible spaces designed to increase collaboration and the quality of customer service that the Atlanta-based staff employees deliver to all of you: 7,000 members around the world.
Sustainable practices will also help define the new CoreNet Global headquarters. For example, we will occupy nearly 20% less space than we are currently using in our existing downtown Atlanta facility. Indoor environmental conditions, lighting, materials usage, and practices like recycling or waste reduction will also be utilized to reflect a more integrated approach to the workplace.
We'd like to extend a special “Thank You” to all of the members who have stepped up to help us so far, and please join us in expressing your appreciation when you see them in the coming weeks and months.
Many of you think of CoreNet Global as your professional home. This is another great example of why!
The Atlanta Business Chronicle described CoreNet Global's new headquarters as "a showcase for the workplace of the future" in the publication's September 2 edition.
